The area around the swing arm pivot, the swing arm, the collector, the gears and the shock absorber are in front of the rear wheel and thus directly in the debris path of the rear wheel. Aside from the dirt caused, the technical components are heavily affected by kicked up dirt, stones, other foreign bodies and spray.
This inner wing protects the shock absorber, the shock absorber mounting, the swing arm as well as the collector and rear of the gearbox. It catches the water kicked up and reliably channels it away. This sensible component reduces and simultaneously sustainably protects the feet and lower legs of the rider and passenger from spray and road dirt.
